Bardlock Diviner Class Feat

Portent

  • casting time None
  • range Self

  • components Divination
  • duration Instantaneous

(2 Portent Dice (d20)) Starting at 2nd level when you choose this school, glimpses of the future begin to press in on your awareness. When you finish a long rest, roll two d20s and record the numbers rolled. You can replace any attack roll, saving throw, or ability check made by you or a creature that you can see with one of these foretelling rolls. You must choose to do so before the roll, and you can replace a roll in this way only once per turn.

Each foretelling roll can be used only once. When you finish a long rest, you lose any unused foretelling rolls.

It seems you have been dabbling a lot with time. Do you ever look back and worry that it will catch up to you?

Bardlock Diviner Special Action

Lucky Timing

  • casting time None
  • range Self

  • components Luck Points
  • duration Instantaneous

(3 Luck Points per Long Rest) You have inexplicable luck that seems to kick in at just the right moment.

-You have 3 luck points. Whenever you make an attack roll, an ability check, or a saving throw, you can spend one luck point to roll an additional d20. You can choose to spend one of your luck points after you roll the die, but before the outcome is determined. You choose which of the d20s is used for the attack roll, ability check, or saving throw.

-You can also spend one luck point when an attack roll is made against you. Roll a d20, and then choose whether the attack uses the attacker's roll or yours. If more than one creature spends a luck point to influence the outcome of a roll, the points cancel each other out, no additional dice are rolled.

-You regain your expended luck points when you finish a long rest.

  • duration Instantaneous

You can then immediately use your reaction to move up to your walking speed to an unoccupied space within 5 feet of the target.

Hexblade's Curse

  • casting time 1 Bonus Action
  • range 30 Feet

  • components None
  • duration 1 Minute

(+4 Bonus to Damage Rolls
+6 HP Recovery on Killing the Hexed Target) Starting at 1st level, you gain the ability to place a baleful curse on someone. As a bonus action, choose one creature you can see within 30 feet of you. The target is cursed for 1 minute. The curse ends early if the target dies, you die, or you are incapacitated. Until the curse ends, you gain the following benefits:

-You gain a +4 bonus to damage rolls against the cursed target.
-Any attack roll you make against the cursed target is a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20 on the d20.
-If the cursed target dies, you regain +6 hit points.

You can’t use this feature again until you finish a short or long rest.

Bardlock Diviner Class Feat

Bardic Inspiration

  • casting time 1 Bonus Action
  • range 60 Feet

  • components Verbal
  • duration 10 Minutes

(4 Uses of +1d8 to ability checks) You can inspire others through stirring words or music. To do so, you use a bonus action on your turn to choose one creature other than yourself within 60 feet of you who can hear you. That creature gains one Bardic Inspiration die, a d8.

Once within the next 10 minutes, the creature can roll the die and add the number rolled to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw it makes. The creature can wait until after it rolls the d20 before deciding to use the Bardic Inspiration die, but must decide before the DM says whether the roll succeeds or fails. Once the Bardic Inspiration die is rolled, it is lost. A creature can have only one Bardic Inspiration die at a time.

You regain any expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Your Bardic Inspiration die changes when you reach certain levels in the Bard class. The die becomes a d8 at 5th level, a d10 at 10th level, and a d12 at 15th level.

Countercharm

As an action, you can start a performance that lasts until the end of your next turn. During that time, you and any friendly creatures within 30 feet of you have advantage on saving throws against being frightened or charmed.

A creature must be able to hear you to gain this benefit. The performance ends early if you are incapacitated or silenced or if you voluntarily end it (no action required).

(Materials: a glowing stick of incense or a phosphorescent vial, Wis. Save 16) Choose one creature, object, or magical effect within range. Any spell of 3rd level or lower on the target ends. While charmed by this spell, the creature is incapacitated and has a speed of 0.

(Materials: a focus worth 100 gold, either a jewelled horn or a glass eye for seeing) You create an invisible sensor within range in a location familiar to you (a place you have visited or seen before) or in an obvious location that is unfamiliar to you (such as behind a door, around a corner, or in a grove of trees). The sensor remains in place for the duration, and it can't be attacked or otherwise interacted with.

When you cast the spell, you choose seeing or hearing. You can use the chosen sense through the sensor as if you were in its space. As your action, you can switch between seeing and hearing.

A creature that can see the sensor (such as a creature benefiting from see invisibility or truesight) sees a luminous, intangible orb about the size of your fist.

Bardlock Diviner 2nd Level Enchantment

Alohamora (Unlock Door)

  • casting time 1 Action
  • range 60 Feet

  • components Verbal
  • duration Instantaneous

Choose an object that you can see within range. The object can be a door, a box, a chest, a set of manacles, a padlock, or another object that contains a mundane or magical means that prevents access.

A target that is held shut by a mundane lock or that is stuck or barred becomes unlocked, unstuck, or unbarred. If the object has multiple locks, only one of them is unlocked.

If you choose a target that is held shut with arcane lock, that spell is suppressed for 10 minutes, during which time the target can be opened and shut normally.

When you cast the spell, a loud knock, audible from as far away as 300 feet, emanates from the target object.

Bardlock Diviner 2nd Level Transmutation

Curre (Longstrider)

  • casting time 1 Action
  • range Touch

  • components Verbal, Somatic

Bardlock Diviner 1st Level Transmutation

Appare Vestigium (Detect Magic)

  • casting time 1 Action + 10 Minutes
  • range Self/ 30 Ft Sphere

  • components Verbal, Somatic
  • duration Concentration: 10 min

For the duration, you sense the presence of magic within 30 feet of you. If you sense magic in this way, you can use your action to see a faint aura around any visible creature or object in the area that bears magic, and you learn its school of magic, if any.

The spell can penetrate most barriers, but it is blocked by 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt.

Bardlock Diviner 1st Level Divination

Colovaria (Minor Illusion)

  • casting time 1 Action
  • range 30 ft./5 Ft. cube

  • components Verbal, Somatic
  • duration 1 Minute

(Materials: a bit of fleece) You create a sound or an image of an object within range that lasts for the duration. The illusion also ends if you dismiss it as an action or cast this spell again.

If you create a sound, its volume can range from a whisper to a scream. It can be your voice, someone else's voice, a lion's roar, a beating of drums, or any other sound you choose. The sound continues unabated throughout the duration, or you can make discrete sounds at different times before the spell ends.

If you create an image of an object--such as a chair, muddy footprints, or a small chest--it must be no larger than a 5-foot cube. The image can't create sound, light, smell, or any other sensory effect. Physical interaction with the image reveals it to be an illusion, because things can pass through it.

If a creature uses its action to examine the sound or image, the creature can determine that it is an illusion with a successful Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC.

Another creature might seek retribution in other ways (at the DM’s discretion), depending on the nature of your interaction with it.
