Catnap

  • casting time 1 Action
  • range 30 ft

  • components S, M
  • duration 10 minutes

a pinch of salt

You make a calming gesture, and up to three willing creatures of your choice that you can see within range fall unconscious for the spell's duration. The spell ends on a target early if it takes damage or someone uses an action to shake or slap it awake. If a target remains unconscious for the full duration, that target gains the benefit of a short rest, and it can't be affected by this spell again until it finishes a long rest.

If cast at 3rd level this spell requires no charges from Daydream to cast.

For every spell slot level above 3rd level, an additional charge must be used to cast the spell which will allow the spell to target one additional willing creature for each spell slot level above 3rd.

Scatter

  • casting time 1 action
  • range 30 ft

  • components V
  • duration Instantaneous

The air quivers around up to five creatures of your choice that you can see within range. An unwilling creature must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw to resist this spell. You teleport each affected target to an unoccupied space that you can see within 120 feet of you. That space must be on the ground or on a floor.

This Spell consumes 6 charges from Daydream to cast.

Hallucinatory Terrain

  • casting time 10 minutes
  • range 300 ft

  • components V, S, M
  • duration 24 hours

a stone, a twig, and a bit of green plant

You make natural terrain in a 150-foot cube in range look, sound, and smell like some other sort of natural terrain. Thus, open fields or a road can be made to resemble a swamp, hill, crevasse, or some other difficult or impassable terrain. A pond can be made to seem like a grassy meadow, a precipice like a gentle slope, or a rock-strewn gully like a wide and smooth road. Manufactured structures, equipment, and creatures within the area aren't changed in appearance.

The tactile characteristics of the terrain are unchanged, so creatures entering the area are likely to see through the illusion. If the difference isn't obvious by touch, a creature carefully examining the illusion can attempt an Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC to disbelieve it. A creature who discerns the illusion for what it is, sees it as a vague image superimposed on the terrain.

This Spell consumes 4 charges from Daydream to cast.

Dream [1/2]

  • casting time 1 minute
  • range Special

  • components V, S, M
  • duration 8 hours

a handful of sand, a dab of ink, and a writing quill plucked from a sleeping bird

This spell shapes a creature's dreams. Choose a creature known to you as the target of this spell. The target must be on the same plane of existence as you. Creatures that don't sleep, such as elves, can't be contacted by this spell. You, or a willing creature you touch, enters a trance state, acting as a messenger. While in the trance, the messenger is aware of his or her surroundings, but can't take actions or move.

If the target is asleep, the messenger appears in the target's dreams and can converse with the target as long as it remains asleep, through the duration of the spell. The messenger can also shape the environment of the dream, creating landscapes, objects, and other images. The messenger can emerge from the trance at any time, ending the effect of the spell early. The target recalls the dream perfectly upon waking. If the target is awake when you cast the spell, the messenger knows it, and can either end the trance (and the spell) or wait for the target to fall asleep, at which point the messenger appears in

Dream [2/2]

  • casting time 1 minute
  • range Special

  • components V, S, M
  • duration 8 hours

the target's dreams.

You can make the messenger appear monstrous and terrifying to the target. If you do, the messenger can deliver a message of no more than ten words and then the target must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, echoes of the phantasmal monstrosity spawn a nightmare that lasts the duration of the target's sleep and prevents the target from gaining any benefit from that rest. In addition, when the target wakes up, it takes 3d6 psychic damage.

If you have a body part, lock of hair, clipping from a nail, or similar portion of the target's body, the target makes its saving throw with disadvantage.

This Spell consumes 5 charges from Daydream to cast.

Daydream - 5 Charges 5th-level illusion

Alarm

  • casting time 1 minute
  • range 30 ft

  • components V, S, M
  • duration 8 hours

a tiny bell and a piece of fine silver wire

You set an alarm against unwanted intrusion. Choose a door, a window, or an area within range that is no larger than a 20-foot cube. Until the spell ends, an alarm alerts you whenever a Tiny or larger creature touches or enters the warded area. When you cast the spell, you can designate creatures that won't set off the alarm. You also choose whether the alarm is mental or audible.

A mental alarm alerts you with a ping in your mind if you are within 1 mile of the warded area. This ping awakens you if you are sleeping.

An audible alarm produces the sound of a hand bell for 10 seconds within 60 feet.

This Spell consumes 1 charge from Daydream to cast.

Sleep

  • casting time 1 action
  • range 90 feet

  • components V, S, M
  • duration 1 minute

a pinch of find sand, rose petals, or a cricket

This spell sends creatures into a magical slumber. Roll 9d8, the total is how many hit points of creatures this spell can affect. Creatures within 20 feet of a point you choose within range are affected in ascending order of their current hit points.

Starting with the creature that has the lowest current hit points (above 0), each creature affected by this spell falls unconscious until the spell ends, the sleeper takes damage, or someone uses an action to shake or slap the sleeper awake. Subtract each creature's hit points from the total before moving on to the creature with the next lowest hit points. A creature's hit points must be equal to or less than the remaining total for that creature to be affected.

Undead and creatures immune to being charmed aren't affected by this spell.

This Spell consumes 3 charges from Daydream to cast.

Daydream - 1 Charge 3rd level Enchantment

Warp Sense

  • casting time 1 Action
  • range Self

  • components V,S,M
  • duration Concentration, up to 1 minute

a razorvine leaf

For the duration, you sense the presence of portals, even inactive ones, within 30 feet of yourself.

If you detect a portal in this way, you can use your action to study it. Make a DC 15 ability check using your spellcasting ability. On a successful check, you learn the destination plane of the portal and what portal key it requires, then the spell ends. On a failed check, you learn nothing and can't study that portal again using this spell until you cast it again.

The spell can penetrate most barriers but is blocked by 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt.

This Spell consumes 2 charges from Daydream to cast.
