You raise your hand and trace a sigil of warding in the air. Until the end of your next turn, you or a ally you touch have resistance against bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage dealt by weapon attacks.
You choose a type of energy between Arcane, Acid, Cold, Fire, Lightning, Necrotic, Radiant, Thunder, Poison, and Psychic, that you have a rune for, and hurl a bolt of its type at a creature you can see within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d8 damage of the chosen type.
At higher levels: This spell’s base damage increases by 1d8 when you reach 5th level (2d8), 10th level (3d8), 15th level (4d8), and 20th level (5d8).
Upcasting: When using mana to upcast this spell, damage increases by 1d8 for each 1 mana spent to upcast it.
You create one of the following magical effects within range:
- an instantaneous, harmless sensory effect, such as a shower of sparks, a puff of wind, faint musical notes, or an odd odor.
- instantaneously light or snuff out a candle, a torch, or a small campfire.
- instantaneously clean or soil an object no larger than 1 spheric meter.
- chill, warm, or flavor up to 1 spheric meter of nonliving material for 1 hour.
- make a color, a small mark, or a symbol appear on an object or a surface for 1 hour.
- create a nonmagical trinket or an illusory image that can fit in your hand and that lasts until the end of your next turn.
If you cast this spell multiple times, you can have up to three of its non-instantaneous effects active at a time, and you can dismiss such an effect as an action.
A creature of your choice that you can see within range regains hit points equal to 1d4 + your spellcasting ability modifier. This spell has no effect on undead or constructs.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the healing increases by 1d4 for each slot level above 1st.
A creature you touch regains a number of hit points equal to 2d8 + your spellcasting bonus.
This spell has no effect on undead or constructs.
Upcasting:
This spell’s healing increases by 2d8 for each additional 1 mana used.
