Calling forth the depths, you fill the target creature’s lungs with salt water. Water pours out of the creature’s mouth and onto the floor. The target creature must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take 2d8 cold damage and become incapacitated. At the end of each of its turns, the target can make another Constitution saving throw.
On a success, the spell ends. On a failed save it takes 2d8 cold damage. The target creature cannot speak or breathe while the spell is in effect. The spell also ends if the target is ever outside the spell’s range. This spell does not affect creatures that do not require air to breath.
