The Corrupted Guardian was once a noble protector of the shrine and its sacred grounds, but the corruption has twisted both its form and mind. It stands as a tragic figure, a reflection of the darkness that consumes it, yet it will fiercely defend the shrine from those who seek to disturb it. While its body has become a grotesque, unnatural thing, its tragic nature still lingers beneath the corruption.
Multiattack: The Corrupted Guardian makes two attacks: one with its Corrupted Slam and one with its Corruption Tendrils.
Corrupted Slam (Melee Weapon Attack):
Attack Bonus: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target.
Hit: 10 (2d6 + 3) bludgeoning damage plus 3 (1d6) necrotic damage.
Corruption Tendrils (Melee Weapon Attack):
Attack Bonus: +3 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target.
Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) necrotic damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be pulled 10 feet closer to the guardian.
Effect: If the target is pulled into the guardian’s reach, the guardian can make an immediate Corrupted Slam attack on it as a bonus action.
