When the mask is worn, a twisting pattern of colors that weaves through the air inside a 30-foot cube within range at a point of the wearer's choice is created. The pattern appears for a moment and vanishes. Each creature in the area who sees the pattern must make a Wisdom saving throw against the primary ability modifier of the wearer. On a failed save, the creature becomes charmed for the duration or until the mask is no longer worn. While charmed by this magical effect, the creature is incapacitated and has a speed of 0.
The magical effect ends for an affected creature if it takes any damage or if someone else uses an action to shake the creature out of its stupor.
Once this magical effect has been used, the mask loses the magical power bestowed upon it, but is not destroyed.
