You are born of the galaxies and their endless void. You have resistance to cold damage.

Demidritch Trait

Slow Fall

  • casting time
  • range

  • components
  • duration

You can use your reaction when you fall to reduce any falling damage you take by an amount equal to five times your monk level.

Monk Feat

Deflect Missiles

  • casting time
  • range

  • components
  • duration

You can use your reaction to deflect or catch the missile when you are hit by a ranged weapon attack. When you do so, the damage you take from the attack is reduced by 1d10 + your Dexterity modifier + your monk level.

If you reduce the damage to 0, you can catch the missile if it is small enough for you to hold in one hand and you have at least one hand free. If you catch a missile in this way, you can spend 1 ki point to make a ranged attack with a range of 20/60 using the weapon or piece of ammunition you just caught, as part of the same reaction. You make this attack with proficiency, regardless of your weapon proficiencies, and the missile counts as a monk weapon for the attack.

Monk Feat

Unarmored Movement

  • casting time
  • range

  • components
  • duration

Your speed increases by 10 feet while you are not wearing armor or wielding a shield. This bonus increases when you reach certain monk levels, as shown in the Monk table.

At 9th level, you gain the ability to move along vertical surfaces and across liquids on your turn without falling during the move.

Monk Feat

Ki

  • casting time
  • range

  • components
  • duration

(Ki save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier) When you spend a ki point, it is unavailable until you finish a short or long rest, at the end of which you draw all of your expended ki back into yourself. You must spend at least 30 minutes of the rest meditating to regain your ki points.

Flurry of Blows:
Immediately after you take the Attack action on your turn, you can spend 1 ki point to make two unarmed strikes as a bonus action.

Patient Defense:
You can spend 1 ki point to take the Dodge action as a bonus action on your turn.

Step of the Wind:
You can spend 1 ki point to take the Disengage or Dash action as a bonus action on your turn, and your jump distance is doubled for the turn.

Monk Feat

Martial Arts

  • casting time
  • range

  • components
  • duration

You gain the following benefits while you are unarmed or wielding only monk weapons and you aren't wearing armor or wielding a shield:

You can use Dexterity instead of Strength for the attack and damage rolls of your unarmed strikes and monk weapons.

You can roll a d4 in place of the normal damage of your unarmed strike or monk weapon. This die changes as you gain monk levels, as shown in the Martial Arts column of the Monk table.

When you use the Attack action with an unarmed strike or a monk weapon on your turn, you can make one unarmed strike as a bonus action. For example, if you take the Attack action and attack with a quarterstaff, you can also make an unarmed strike as a bonus action, assuming you haven't already taken a bonus action this turn.

Monk Feat

Dance of Fire

  • casting time
  • range

  • components
  • duration

At 3rd level, you are a master at weaving flames
through your use of ki, creating a deadly dance. When you spend a ki point during your turn, your monk weapons and unarmed strikes catch fire until the start of your next turn. While on fire, they deal extra fire damage equal to your Wisdom modifier, and you gain a bonus to your AC equal to half your Wisdom modifier for the duration.

In addition, while your flames are active, if a creature misses you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to make an unarmed strike or spend a ki point to use your Flurry of Blows feature against it

Monk Feat

Blazing Performer

  • casting time
  • range

  • components
  • duration

At 3rd level, you’ve trained your body to dance
through flames. You gain proficiency in the
Performance or Acrobatics skill (your choice), and your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses the chosen proficiency.

In addition, you gain resistance to fire damage. If you already have this resistance, instead, if you take fire damage, you can reduce that damage by 1d6 (after the resistance applies)

Monk Feat

Inquisitive Mind

  • casting time
  • range

  • components
  • duration

Your constant searching for answers has trained your mind to find connections and insights where others see none. You have an uncanny knack for seeing through lies and half-truths, and people tend to reveal more information to you, either intentionally or not. You have a knack for getting people to open up to you, whether it's through kindness, intimidation, or trickery.

Glow

  • casting time
  • range Self

  • components
  • duration 1 Hour

You can cast the light cantrip on your own body at will.

Your Body sheds bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet. The light can be colored as you like. The spell ends if you cast it again or dismiss it as an action.

Demidritch Trait

Astral Attraction

  • casting time
  • range Self/ 10 ft. Radius

  • components
  • duration 1 Minute

You can use your action to unleash the potential energy within yourself, causing your body to erupt with power and transforming it for 1 minute.

When you first transform, each creature other than you in a 10-foot radius centered on you must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take a number of d6s of radiant damage from the explosion equal to your proficiency bonus.
While transformed in this way, you shed bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet. You generate a powerful gravitational field. The area within a 20-foot radius centered on you is considered difficult terrain for creatures of your choice that you can see.

Starting at level 12, this radius increases to 60 feet and you can ignore gravity, granting a flying speed of 30 feet during which you can hover. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest
